The Truth about us

man riding bicycle

Once upon a time there were two brothers born into slavery. Miraculously, they lived until our present day which makes them well over 400 hundred years old.

During slavery these brothers witnessed their family being tortured, beaten, lynched, raped, murdered and also forced to work all day long for others free of charge.

When slavery was finally outlawed, these same two brothers were supposedly given full American privileges but still witnessed their family being grossly disrespected on a daily basis and restricted from American success with illegal Jim Crow laws.

But in the 1960s something wonderful happened for these two brothers after the successful Civil Rights movement which now gave them the opportunity to learn, achieve, and soar like the eagles to their heart's content. But sadly, these two brothers chose different paths.

What did the brothers do next?

The first thing the successful brother did was grab a book, enrolled into a good school to learn all he could. He faced many obstacles in learning the American way, but the reward was great! He remembered his painful history, but he didn't dwell on it. He kept it in perspective. He could care less about racist ones in America who didn't want him to achieve. He went on to provide for his family with a good job and set a good example for his children.

The first thing the struggling brother did with the help of post-Civil Rights leaders was made to feel sorry for himself and felt that something was owed to him because of the harsh treatment he had endured for hundreds of years. He chose to wallow in self-pity with a life filled with violence and foolish pleasure seeking, making his money the quick and dangerous way. He did not set a good example for his children, and the struggling condition just recycled itself.

This website is useful for both brothers, but especially the struggling one. It was made to be a confidence builder. Whatever we put our positive energy and mind too, we can become successful. Our African American ancestors knew we could do it and endured much suffering and even death so we could have the opportunity to achieve. That should be respected and not taken lightly.

Our African American culture started with the first slave's ships to America. This is our traceable beginning and roots. It is entirely understood we are from an African connection and are historically from that stock, but there is a dark void that cannot be filled, and Africans feel the same about African Americans, like distant brothers with little in common.

These roots will enable us to build a healthy and prosperous life in America. It will make us proud to know we came from such fine African American stock. In fact, it has the power to wake us up and ask "why am I hating and killing my brother and treating my sisters like crap. It will make some of us ashamed.

You're going to learn how whites (European culture) and blacks (African culture) are total opposites and crossed paths with blacks getting the worse of the meeting, only because whites were educated and blacks weren't. Whites had guns; our race had spears and who do you think is going to win that battle?

    man with gun against spear

It's not much different today; the educated will always reign supreme. You will learn from our ancestors that learning and education is a friend and not foe. Other races of people in America understand how important education is. It does not belong solely to white people, or a white thing like so many of us believe. Somewhere along the line after freedom from slavery, some of us got it all screwed up in believing we were incapable of learning and education was a white thing to avoid at all cost.

A lack of education could be compared to a child who doesn't know any better. Check out the adorable video to the left and notice how one twin cries when she thinks she's not going to grow like her sister. This is because she hasn't LEARNED yet that one day she will. It's not much different from ones who refuse to learn and grow or think it's a white thing to do so. They remain trapped in a child-like state and are not prepared to compete in American society. With what results? These will be taken advantage of and dominated by unscrupulous people their entire lives.

Don't get played. Education is a gift from above and one of the humanities treasures that belong to all who chooses to partake. Read at all cost. Ain't no shame in being aware and smart. Your ancestors made it possible for you, don't let them down or more importantly don't let yourself and family down. I know you can do it!

black men soar like the eagles

Once you learn these things and the countless examples our ancestors left for us, you will begin to realize your place in America. These amazing blacks and their stories teach us how to become excellent role models providing for our families instead of out in the streets with foolish pleasure seeking our entire lives. Their examples will teach us honor and how we should act.

You will begin looking at America in a different light by recognizing that the concept of America isn't wrong, it's the best country in the world and belongs to us the same as everybody.

It was the racist anti-American whites who claimed to represent our country and hijacked an extraordinary U.S. Constitution many years ago creating laws to benefit themselves that are wrong. They have given America a bad name and taste in the mouth of many people that exist down to this very day. Real talk. Now please, go achieve and soar like the eagles!
